The shooting occurred on September 7, 1996, at approximately 11:15 p.m. Pacific Time, when the vehicle carrying Shakur and Knight stopped at a red light at East Flamingo Road and Koval Lane. Shakur was struck by four .40-caliber rounds fired from a Glock handgun. The new owner will receive documentation verifying the vehicle's ownership and historical provenance. While the car has had multiple owners since the incident, the most recent ownership commissioned the full restoration referenced above. The vehicle is currently on display in the Celebrity Cars Las Vegas showroom and is available for purchase.
