The MGA is often credited with introducing a generation of Americans to the joy of the small British roadster, and this 1600 Mk II example shows why the car earned that reputation. Backed by a nut and bolt restoration where no expense was spared, it is a beautiful car with a remarkable story, since the last owner kept it for more than 60 years.
Finished in classic Old English White, this MGA has the clean, flowing lines that made the model so beloved, from its low, rounded nose to its graceful tail. The restoration was done with exceptional care, and the result is a roadster that looks every bit as fresh and charming as it did when new. A color this simple and timeless lets the car's sculpted shape do all the talking.
Power comes from the 1600cc inline four in Mk II specification, paired with a 4 speed manual transmission that delivers the engaging, hands on driving experience the MGA is known for. It is a lightweight, nimble car that rewards the driver on winding roads, and the nut and bolt restoration means the mechanical side of the car has been given the same attention as its appearance.
Inside, black vinyl upholstery keeps the cabin classic, clean, and period appropriate, providing a sharp contrast to the Old English White exterior. The simple, driver focused layout is true to the MGA's character, with everything within easy reach and nothing to distract from the pleasure of open air motoring.
This MGA is a rare chance to own a fully restored, long cherished British roadster with more than six decades of single ownership behind it, ready to be enjoyed at car shows, on weekend drives, and anywhere the top can come down.
