1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, Code 78 Black Cherry, Show Quality, Two Original Build Sheets, Rotisserie Restored This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS is the kind of car that immediately stands apart from the crowd. Finished in its stunning Code 78 Black Cherry, this Chevelle features show-quality paint, exceptional fit and finish, outstanding body lines, and the kind of overall presentation that has to be seen in person to truly appreciate. This is not simply a nice driver-quality Chevelle. This is a beautifully restored, highly detailed car that you would be proud to park at virtually any car show, cruise-in, or collection. The car underwent an older frame-off rotisserie restoration, and the quality of that work continues to show today. The body is straight, the gaps and panel alignment are impressive, and the Black Cherry finish has a deep, rich appearance that looks incredible from every angle. Inside is a clean and beautifully presented Black Bucket Seat Interior with a Center Console, giving the cabin the classic muscle-car look enthusiasts expect. Additional interior equipment includes a Tilt Steering Column, Tach, and Factory-Style Gauges. Power is transferred through a strong Turbo 400 Automatic Transmission to a 12-Bolt Posi-Traction Rear End with 3.31 gears, providing an excellent combination of performance and comfortable cruising. Up front, the Functional Cowl Induction Hood adds one of the most desirable visual and performance features available on a 1970 Chevelle SS. The car also sits on a set of brand-new Firestone Wide Oval Tires, giving it the correct vintage appearance and finishing off the stance perfectly. Perhaps one of the most impressive features of this Chevelle is its documentation. Included with the car are two original Build Sheets, something that becomes increasingly difficult to find and adds tremendous appeal for the serious collector. The color is spectacular, the body and paint are impressive, the interior presents beautifully, the underside reflects the quality of the restoration, and the documentation adds another level of desirability. There are plenty of 1970 Chevelles on the market, but cars with this level of fit, finish, restoration quality, documentation, and overall presentation are much harder to find. If you are looking for a 1970 Chevelle SS that you can genuinely be proud to own and show, this Black Cherry example deserves serious consideration. It is a stunning automobile from top to bottom and a car that presents every bit as impressively as a properly restored Chevelle SS should.
