1984 Porsche 911 Carrera M491 Factory Turbo-Look PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO HERE https://youtu.be/jDcE256z3Ho?is=NEFzOiuBV6QrOQt4 For sale is a 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera with the factory M491 Turbo-Look package, one of only 241 built in this year. This vehicle came from its long-term owner in Colorado. He purchased the car in 1999, and it has been in his ownership for the last 26 years. The car received a complete repaint in black over 20 years ago. The paint presents very well, and the interior is in great condition. The car comes with its factory build sheet, tool kit, owner s manuals, books, spare tire, and a clean Carfax. It s powered by its 3.2L naturally aspirated engine mated to the 915 transaxle. According to the previous owner, the engine has had a full rebuild in the past, although we do not have documentation for the work. Mechanically, it runs and drives excellent. It shifts well through the gears, and the brakes and clutch feel great. It is fitted with 8x16 front and 9x16 rear wheels with new tires. No known leaks. Factory Options * M491 Turbo-Look * Electric Sliding Sunroof * Cruise Control * Standard Radio The M491 Turbo-Look is one of the most desirable factory options on a 1984 Carrera, giving the normally aspirated Carrera the wide-body appearance and Turbo-based chassis and braking equipment. Unlike a car modified to look like a Turbo, this example was factory-built with the M491 package, as confirmed by its original build documentation.
