1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Yenko Tribute. Beautiful car with 10 out of 10 paint and extreme attention to detail. The dashboard is badged as an SS with a 396, but unlike 1964"1968 Chevelles where a VIN starting with 138 proved it was a real Super Sport, the 1969 VIN starts with 136 for both standard Malibus and true SS models. The VIN alone cannot confirm an original SS. The build sheet (under the rear seat, carpet, or gas tank) or original dealer paperwork is needed to verify a true 1969 SS. This car now sports a rebuilt 4-bolt 427 with new pistons, cam, lifters, performance intake, power steering and power brakes. Behind that is a Muncie 4-speed. Headers and exhaust sound killer! 12-bolt rear end Interior is fantastic. Bought at the Barret Jackson Palm Beach auction in 2010 and imported to Quebec. The car was brought to Saskatchewan in the beginning of 2026. Limited history of the car is known, but the owners manual and warranty card show that it was sold new at Carlen Motors in Cookeville Tennessee on March 22 nd, 1969. The car now wears a Yenko tribute decal scheme and American racing wheels with raised white letter tires. The black paint is glossy and smooth, and the chrome and bright metal work is all perfect or has been replaced. The vinyl top is like new as well. Moving inside, things are just as nice with all new carpets and upholstery. The dash is in great shape and theres a retro-sound radio in place of the factory unit. The white cue-ball shift knob looks just right. A tach sits on top of the steering column as well. Finishing in the trunk and under the hood are absolutely flawless. The car looks as good in person as it does in the pictures. Show worth and drives just as good as it looks. The odometer shows 74,000 miles, but with only 5 digits and an engine swap to the 427, true milage is unknown.
