We purchased this vehicle out of Reno, Nevada, from its long-term owner, who purchased the car in 2004 and continued to properly maintain it throughout his ownership. The car comes with an incredible amount of documentation, including over $60,000 in service receipts, the original owner s manual, service book, factory tool kit, compressor, and multiple first-, second-, and third-place concours awards and trophies. The car is finished in its factory L37B Baltic Blue Metallic over a stunning Linen interior with a blue convertible top. This is an exceptionally attractive and relatively rare factory color combination. The car presents beautifully and is about as close to flawless as you will find. The Baltic Blue Metallic paint is in excellent condition and is protected with PPF on the front of the car and rocker guards. The Linen interior is immaculate and shows exceptionally well. The car sits on genuine Porsche 16-inch Fuchs wheels, 7 inches wide in front and 8 inches wide in the rear, which have been freshly refinished. One of the most significant pieces of documentation is an invoice from C&C Automotive Specialties in Sparks, Nevada, dated April 24, 2009, at 99,527 miles. At that time, the engine received a documented top-end rebuild due to valve-guide wear. The work included rebuilding the cylinder heads, replacing the valve guides, resealing the cam towers and rocker shafts, timing the camshafts, and reassembly and adjustment. The same service also included a clutch replacement, transmission service, CV/axle-related work, oil seals, and other supporting mechanical work. Since then, the car has continued to receive substantial care from Reno Rennsport and other respected Porsche specialists.
