CONDITION
This 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250S sedan has 51,780 miles and features a detailed drivetrain conversion using the engine, transmission, and electronics from a 1987 Mercedes-Benz 300E. The conversion is documented with approximately 400 photographs and a five-page worksheet that includes electrical diagrams. The car is powered by a partially rebuilt 3.0-liter M103 six-cylinder engine with a catalytic converter and O2 system, paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission and floor shifter. It also has a 3.27 differential, calibrated speedometer, electronic cruise control, power brakes, four-wheel disc brakes, and four-wheel independent suspension.
The interior has been renewed in its original-color MB-Tex with square-weave German carpeting. Additional interior equipment includes a new 52mm tachometer, original Becker stereo with Bluetooth, two center armrests, reconditioned wood trim, cup holders, a wooden shift knob, and a hard-wired GPS. The exterior has been repainted in its original Mercedes-Benz MB 050 white using urethane acrylic paint. The car rides on reconditioned OEM Fuchs wheels with new 205/70R14 tires and is equipped with H4 headlights and amber fog lights. The R134A air conditioning operates, and four new brake rotors and pads and new fluids have been installed. The car is registered and driven weekly.
