The 1970 Pontiac GTO arrived at the high-water mark of the muscle-car era, wearing one of Pontiac's most aggressive designs. Its body-colored Endura nose, exposed quad headlights, twin hood scoops, and muscular A-body proportions gave the original street brawler a fresh set of brass knuckles. Pontiac built 40,149 GTOs for 1970, a substantial drop from 1969, helping make surviving examples increasingly sought after today.

Power runs through an RPM Level 5 4L60E automatic overdrive transmission with a 3,200-rpm lockup converter.
