CONDITION
This 1948 Ford Super Deluxe Tudor is finished in gray with a coordinating gray interior. It underwent a professional frame-off restoration covering the exterior, interior, chrome and brightwork, mechanical components, engine compartment, trunk, and undercarriage. The restoration is documented in an accompanying portfolio and received a National First Prize AACA award.
Power is supplied by the numbers-matching 239ci Flathead V8 rated at 100 horsepower and paired with a 3-speed manual transmission. The car retains its period controls and equipment, including a push-button starter, manual choke, throttle control, deluxe heater, Adjust-O-Matic radio, electric clock, and functional instrumentation.
The body panels have straight alignment and consistent fit, while the gray paint, chrome trim, grille, bumpers, and exterior brightwork present cleanly. The interior retains a period-correct appearance with a gray bench seat, restored dashboard, rubber front floor mat, carpeted rear passenger compartment, and finished door panels and headliner.
This documented Georgia Ford has been protected from inclement weather and shows no visible rust, corrosion, or pitting. The engine compartment, trunk, and undercarriage are clean and detailed. It runs and drives and is equipped for show, touring, or local cruising.
