This one-owner car had just 9,435 actual miles as of 2017, when we sold it to its second owner. He properly serviced the car, added a set of Vogue tires, and today it has only 15,075 miles. The story begins in 1979 when a farmer won $150,000 in the lottery. He treated himself to an RV, a combine tractor, and the most expensive American car available at the time-this Lincoln Collector's Series, which carried a staggering $22,955 window sticker. For comparison, a top-of-the-line Cadillac Biarritz that year was $14,800.
This car was ordered fully loaded and includes its original, custom-made, color-matched leather tool kit-100% complete right down to the screwdriver with Collector's Series script logo. We found a similar kit advertised online for $3,999. Other unique factory features include the umbrella, custom keys, and leather-wrapped owner's manual cover. Rare options include bucket seats with center console, CB radio, power moonroof, and much more-far too many features to list individually.
