1968 Pontiac GTO in red. Factory color was blue, but youd never know it by the excellent paint work with complete coverage into all the door jams and under the hood. A fresh polish here at Rods has it absolutely gleaming. Chrome and bright work is all very nice. The spoiler on the back looks the part and the antenna is powered on the rear right fender. Wheels are in excellent condition and the raised white letter tires look the part. The hood sports not only the ram air intake ports, but also a working hood tachometer! This is one highly equipped GTO! Pontiac 400 now has Edelbrock intake and Holley Carb with a chrome air cleaner. Theres a new power brake booster and master cylinder, and front disc brakes on the car. Valve covers are chromed along with the alternator. Engine block still in the correct Pontiac blue, but it could use a touch up. Power steering also ordered with the car. Behind all that is a TH-350 with Hurst His/Hers dual-gate shifter. The engine bay is neat and tidy with correct reproduction stickers on the fan shroud. Moving inside, theres options galore! Buckets and console car with factory A/C, power windows, AM/FM radio, Stereo 8-track player, full gauges, deluxe Seat belts with shoulder belts, interior light package group and woodgrain dash and console. Upon first drive, the ride is nice, and the car is rattle and squeak free! The trunk has the spare, jack and tire iron, and is finished in a grey coating, which is in fairly good shape, with some minor cracking in the finish here and there. Nice rust-free car. Car has been detailed and polished and will still go through the shop before it leaves with its next owner to make sure everything is in working order. Car shows 56,000 miles, but with only 5 digits, true milage is unknown. If youre searching for a GTO with a truck-load of cool options, look no further!
