1974 Chevrolet C10 LS1 Restomod

Description:

The third generation of Chevy's C/K series, typically known as the "Square Body" or "Rounded Line" generation, is quickly becoming a fan favorite thanks to its strong looks and stout stance. This 1974 Chevrolet C10 LS1 Restomod is decked out in beautiful Catalina Blue with a white side wrap, complemented by an aggressively lowered profile and impossible-to-miss 20-inch American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels. With its modern powertrain and a mere 9,581 miles on its odometer since it has been built, this muscle truck has plenty of life left for its next lucky owner.

Inside, we find a well-designed blue vinyl interior with a spacious bench seat that offers an expansive view of the contrasting woodgrain dashboard trim. Matching woodgrain panels and map holders are also found on both doors. A three-spoke, power-assisted, woodgrain wheel sits just ahead of a six-pod Dakota Digital gauge cluster, featuring a large 120 mph speedometer and 8,000-rpm tachometer, which takes center stage. A quartet of auxiliary gauges sits to the left of the steering column, while a retro-style AM/FM/AUX head unit with Bluetooth connectivity fits nicely in the original location, and sliding HVAC controls keep temperature control nice and easy.

Under the hood, we find a modern 5.7-liter LS1 V-8 engine. With its aluminum block, 806 Corvette heads, composite manifold, and Hedman shorty headers, there is no doubt this motor is capable of easily matching (or besting) the 345 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque the LS1 is known to make in C5 Corvettes. Spent gases are expelled through a true-dual exhaust capped off with a set of FlowMaster mufflers. Power is routed through a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission before heading to the GM 12-bolt rear end, which transfers those ponies to the pavement via massive polished wheels and low-profile rubber.

This 1974 Chevrolet C10 LS1 Restomod rides on a suspension consisting of an independent front end and a leaf-spring setup in the rear, while Nitro Drop 2 shocks profile the slammed stance. Power brakes, highlighted by a set of front discs, are ready to scrub off speed whenever called upon. If you are one of the many who have begun noticing the third-gen C/K series pickups are these days, then this cool blue, LS1-powered restomod C10 is the one you've been waiting for. Call today!
