1972 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport. Beautiful extensive restoration done on this car has it looking incredible with just a few modifications from stock. Originally Mulsanne Blue, it now wears Light Sandrift Metallic, a Buick color that can best be described as pewter with painted satin black stripes on the hood and trunk. The paint is in excellent condition and suits the era of the car perfectly. Nice and glossy with a polish just last summer. The split front bumper is what everyone is looking for! The rear bumper is in fair condition. Everything else on the cars exterior is fantastic. The rear spoiler was also perfectly moulded to the rear of the car and shows no cracking. Restoration wasnt limited to just paint the underside of the car looks as good as the top with subframe connectors added as well. The interior also has received much attention and shows very well. New seat covers, headliner and carpets, with other original parts such as door panels and dash still in excellent condition. This is the deluxe interior with full gauges, with aftermarket oil pressure and temperature gauges mounted in place of the original ash tray. The factory oil/temp gauges are in place still as well. The clock is not working at the moment, like most factory clocks of this era. The dashboard is free from cracks and the wood veneer still looks great. Tilt steering wheel is crack free. A B M shifter is in place of the factory unit but has the correct bezel for the console. Even the arm rest and storage compartment are still in good shape. The trunk has a carpet insert made to fit correctly and is very clean and tidy. Heater controls, washers and wipers all in working condition. An aftermarket Radio/CD player is in place of the stock unit and new 6x9 speakers hang from the rear deck. Rear glass shows some scratches, but front windshield looks brand new. Under the hood is probably the most exciting place. The car came with a 307, but it now sports a 355 with lots of go-fast goodies that was built by the Vogt Brothers in Regina. Theres Trick flow 23-degree aluminum heads, 11-1 forged pistons, scat H beam rods, Forged GM steel crank, along with a Sharp Roller rocker valvetrain with stud girdle and Herbert solid roller cam featuring 250 Intake, 260 exhaust, 600 lift and 622 duration specs! The 4-bolt engine block is balanced and blueprinted and zero decked. On top is a Edelbrock air gap intake, Holley 770 cfm Avenger carb and GM bowtie tall valve covers. On the bottom is a 7-quart oil pan with Moroso windage tray. 1 7/8 coated Hooker Headers and Flowmaster 2 aluminized dual exhaust, along with the solid lifter set up produce the most unique exhaust notes around. The car sounds absolutely phenomenal! MSD Digital 6 Plus Ignition with bronze distributor gear Behind all that is a TH-350 with TCS 4000 rpm stall and B M shift Kit. Out back is an 8.5-10 bolt rear end with 3.42 posi gears. Other under-hood treasures include a new power steering pump and hoses and a new performance radiator (along with new heater core). Because of a lack of vacuum thanks to the cam, a Leed Black Bandit electric vacuum bump has been installed to provide extra vacuum to the power brakes, that have them felling just like factory disc brakes. Recent maintenance in the fall of 2025 includes K N HP 3002 performance gold oil filter along with oil change using Castrol GTX Classic high zinc 20w-50. The valves were readjusted in August of 2023 and the carb jetted at 70, along with the power valve changed out. New front shocks are recent, and a set of factory 5-spoke rally wheels in black with beauty rings were sourced and new rubber installed in 2023 as well. It wears BFGoodrich TAs with 215/65/15s up front and 275/60/15s out back. The car drives and sounds just as good as it looks and will not disappoint! Plenty of proven miles with short road trips by the previous owner out to many car shows around the province. Dash shows 94,000 miles, which may be accurate, but with a 5-digit odometer and engine swap, true milage is unknown.
