1,400WHP 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Z51 "Storm C7" For Sale
This 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Z51 is a one-owner car that has been transformed into a fully engineered high-performance build by Weapon X Motorsports. Known as the Storm C7, this Corvette retains its Z51 chassis dynamics and adds a complete forged engine, forced-induction, nitrous, methanol, and cooling overhaul designed for extreme output. With only 14,000 original miles and tuned down from 1,500 to about 1,400 wheel horsepower, this is a highly developed, track-oriented yet street-capable C7 that has been professionally built from end to end.
Engine & Internal Components
The powertrain begins with a Bischoff Racing Engines forged short block, based on a re-sleeved Gen V LT1 using Darton 4.125" bore sleeves. It uses Wiseco pistons, Callies Ultra rods, and a Callies Magnum crankshaft, built to a 10:1 compression ratio. Cylinder heads feature WXM LT big valves for increased flow, while valve control is handled by a WXM Armageddon Stage 4 camshaft kit.
A WXM G1Pro air-to-water intake feeds the engine, supported by a WXM SPI Secondary Port Injection System for added fueling capacity under high boost.
Forced Induction System
Boost is generated by a WXM-modified F1X Procharger kit, running 25 PSI in its current configuration. To keep charge temperatures under control, the car uses a WXM Boost Freeze AC chiller system and a WXM Track Attack heat exchanger, along with a Dewitt?s radiator for upgraded cooling capacity.
Exhaust System
Exhaust flow is managed by a set of American Racing Headers, leading into a stock-style exhaust system with cat deletes.
Fuel, Methanol & Nitrous Systems
The fueling system is enhanced with:
Alky Control Methanol Injection Kit
Nitrous Express controller with three pre-programmed tunes
Nitrous Express 200-shot system
Nitrous Express pressure gauge and toggle box
Nitrous Outlet system with controller
NX 15-lb nitrous bottle hydro-dipped in carbon fiber wrap
Stand-alone fuel cell and pump dedicated to nitrous fueling
Supporting Components
The car is fitted with WXM valve covers with a catch-can system, ensuring consistent crankcase ventilation under heavy load.
A Mantic triple-disc clutch handles the power delivery.
Drivetrain, Axles & Rear End
The rear driveline includes:
GForce upgraded axles
Modified factory rear end with forged cryo-treated C6 ZR1 spider gears
Chassis & Safety
For additional rigidity and safety, the car is equipped with an RPM chromoly roll bar.
Weapon X Motorsports completed a WXM Z06 widebody conversion, giving the car the wider track and larger wheel clearance of a Z06. An RK Sport extractor hood with modified vents improves heat evacuation. Exterior finishing and detailing were carried out by Spade Kreations, including paintwork around the widebody and hood conversions.
