Check out this beautiful 1958 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible! The 1958 Corvette is a very desirable model in its 70 year ongoing production run and the first to have four chrome-rimmed headlights! This 1958 Convertible has been restored from the frame up in the early 2000's and is finished in Silver Blue over a Blue interior. Power comes from its all original drivetrain; 283ci V8 making 245hp paired with its powerglide trans and a 3.36:1 axle! To complete the look of this Corvette is the iconic split-bumpers paint matched coves and its original hub caps!
Powering this 1958 Chevrolet Corvette is its original numbers-correct drivetrain highlighted by the factory DJ-suffix 283ci V8 rated at 245 horsepower and paired to the correct Powerglide automatic transmission. Under the "washboard" hood you will find a concourse detailed trim black engine compartment fitted with the correct hoses clamps covers cleaners and more! The engine retains its correct X58 heads left-hand (3749965) and right-hand (3750556) exhaust manifolds as well as the correct dual Carter carburetors tagged 2626S and 2627S. The desirable Winters-cast dual-quad intake manifold (3739653) remains in place complemented by the correct Delco Remy distributor (110891) AC Delco fuel pump and Harrison radiator (3171674 dated March 1958). The rear differential is correctly stamped AE 306 featuring a 3.36 gear ratio with a February 28 1958 (B288) case casting. Supporting components continue the theme of authenticity on this Corvette including the Delco Remy master cylinder starter and generator (1102043) dated February 21 1958 confirming a highly original and exceptionally preserved drivetrain! The undercarriage is detailed to a concourse level with correct hardware paint markings and to many original components to list!
The inside of this Corvette is absolutely beautiful as well! Inside you'll find a fully restored blue interior with bucket seating. On the dash is the stock gauges in brilliant condition center clock stock 3-spoke steering wheel Wonderbar radio Heater controls & stock shifter! The soft top is a new unit and is free of blemished the hard top is in excellent fully restored condition as well!
