1972 Chevrolet Blazer

Description:

The 1972 Chevrolet Blazer has always been one of those rare vehicles that looks just as good covered in mud as it does polished for a car show. This one, though, was built strictly for the spotlight. Finished in Hugger Orange with a white top, laid out on air, and packing a reworked 6.0L V8 under the hood, it's the kind of machine that turns heads from Miami to Los Angeles. No matter the crowd or generation, this Blazer stops conversations and draws people in.

The bodywork carries every familiar line from Chevrolet's first-generation SUV, but the presentation is pure custom showpiece. The two-tone finish gleams with miles-deep reflections and features modern details like LED headlights, taillights, and corner markers that sharpen its classic profile. The orange bowtie in the grille ties it all together, surrounded by polished trim, crisp panel fitment, and smoothed edges that highlight the clean design. Every panel was aligned and finished to an exceptional standard, giving the truck a tight, factory-fresh look that still feels entirely bespoke. Remove the included hardtop, hit the switchgear, and the Ridetech RidePRO X-HP air suspension settles the Blazer over its 24-inch Intro wheels with orange-painted accents and a polished lip. The setup can be managed through the in-cabin Power Port module or directly from a smartphone app, offering precise ride control and programmable presets that let the truck glide through traffic or hunker down for display.

Under the hood, a 6.0-liter aluminum LS V8 brings modern reliability and a serious punch of performance. Machined and built in 2025, the engine was fully reworked with new internals and a Cam Motion Titan II performance camshaft, then dressed in Chevy Orange to match the truck's show-level presentation. It's topped with GM 706 aluminum heads and a FiTech EFI system with a matching intake manifold and 102 mm throttle body, delivering instant throttle response and a strong, torque-rich powerband. Long-tube headers feed a dual Flowmaster exhaust, giving the LS a deep, hard-edged tone that turns heads before the truck even comes into view. Power runs through a 4L60E automatic transmission to a 10-bolt rear axle with 3.42 gears. Underneath, Ridetech front control arms and a Ridetech anti-sway bar sharpen handling while maintaining a comfortable ride. Power steering and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes with slotted rotors keep it composed, and an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans handles cooling duty with ease.

Inside, the Blazer nails the blend of vintage cool and modern custom. White vinyl upholstery with orange-and-black houndstooth inserts extends from the front buckets to the matching rear seat, creating a cohesive look that ties back to Chevrolet's classic CST trim. Behind the rear seat sits a custom-built enclosure for the Ridetech air tank and compressor setup, finished with the same attention to detail as the rest of the interior. Modern air conditioning with Vintage Air controls keeps the cabin cool and comfortable, making the Blazer as enjoyable to drive as it is to look at. The audio system alone could headline its own show. A RetroSound head unit with Bluetooth drives eight Memphis Audio speakers for mids and highs, while a 6000-watt DS18 amplifier powers a pair of DS18 15-inch subwoofers mounted in a custom ported box. The result is sharp, clean highs and deep, thunderous bass that fills the open-air cabin with clarity and power. Chrome accents, tight black carpeting, and Dakota Digital gauges round out the space, giving it a crisp, high-energy vibe that matches the truck's stance and sound.

This Blazer wasn't built for subtlety. It was built to be seen, heard, and felt. From the LED ring lighting behind the wheels to the mirror-smooth paint and perfectly tuned stance, every inch was crafted to leave an impression. Wherever it goes, it doesn't just show up. It takes over.
