Description: This 1989 Ford Mustang GT hatchback was refurbished and modified under prior ownership with work that involved the installation of a replacement 5.0-liter V8 along with a Vortech supercharger and a Holley electronic fuel injection system. The selling dealer acquired the car in 2025, after which the engine was dyno-tuned by Blow-By Racing in Fort Meyers, Florida. The body has been refinished in blue and fitted with a a vented cowl hood, a Cobra-style rear spoiler, and side exhaust outlets, and additional modifications include an aluminum radiator, dual cooling fans, four-wheel disc brakes, tubular front control arms and adjustable coilovers, and 17 front and 15 rear Rovos alloy wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson tires.
Interior: The cabin houses bolstered Corbeau bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black along with black carpeting and gray dash trim and door panels. Equipment includes a center console with cupholders, power windows and locks, and a Planet Audio touchscreen stereo unit is linked to Pioneer subwoofers mounted in the trunk floor. The later-style steering wheel frames a Holley EFI digital instrument panel with configurable displays for vehicle speed, engine speed, and other parameters.
Exterior: The body was repainted in blue during the refurbishment under prior ownership, and it was fitted with a vented cowl hood, a Cobra-style rear spoiler, smoked headlight and taillight lenses, tinted glass, and black badges as well as side exhaust outlets exiting through rocker moldings with SVO badging. The hubs have been swapped to five-lug units, and 17 front and 15 rear Rovos alloy wheels are mounted with 25-6.0 front and 275/60 rear Mickey Thompson tires.
Drivetrain: Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok rear axle.
