1955 Belair convertible recently found after being hoarded away and NFS forever.
Unfortunately, the owner passed away. This car has been off the road for 50 years or more. the Odometer shows just over 90K miles and the last oil change sticker shows just over 86K miles. That says a lot! She has been stored for a very long time. The car does not run or drive. It looks complete and finally after all these years.... ready for restoration.
Make no mistake this car needs a complete restoration. The body has rust in the usual spots for a tri five Chevy from the N.E. The frame looks very solid with just surface rust. The interior although complete needs to be redone. Some trim is OK but I would plan on replacing or restoring all trim Being off the road for a very long time helped preserve the car some. It will need everything, rust repair, interior & all mechanicals. Brakes, suspension, steering fuel system, engine, transmission, rear end.
This car needs EVERYTHING! Must be towed/shipped and is inoperable. It rolls and steers but has no brakes tires hold air for shipping purposes.
