Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1973 Chevrolet K5 4x4 Blazer powered by a rebuilt 350 SBC that features a mild competition cam and a bore of .030"" over. The transmission is a rebuilt 700R4, which offers the 4th gear as an overdrive. This truck is a full 'Frame Off' restoration and the clean underside including the frame is proof of the endless hours spent on this build. All components on this rig were either re-worked or replaced including front end parts, all fluid lines, brakes, steering gear, drive shafts and exhaust. The body is finished in a handsome two tone Fathum Blue and Cream White exterior. Before any paint was laid, all the rust free panels were sanded and pre fitted accurately. This truck was originally from Texas and was rust free. After the paint was laid, all new chrome trim was installed along with new headlights and grill.
The 1973 through 1975 model years featured the rare ability to completely remove the top for a full open air convertible experience. This specific Blazer boasts a full 4"" suspension lift and the ability to show off the new wheels and 33"" tires.
Inside, the cabin features brand new leather seats from a Palisade SUV, new rubber floor matting, new dash pad, a Dakota Digital Instrument Cluster, AM/FM stereo and a CB radio.
Further restoration components include all new American Autowire wiring from the fuse box to the taillights, new rear glass in the tailgate and a period correct spare tire.
