Let's take a step back in time this 1965 Mustang was born on Monday April 6, 1964, in San Jose California. Then it traveled to Jacksonville FL area to be sold. Since the build date is in April this would make this Mustang a 1964 1/2 Model, but all were titled as 65 model year. The Mustang was officially unveiled by Henry Ford II at the Worlds Fair in New York, on April 17, 1964. That same day, the new car also debuted in Ford showrooms across America, and almost 22,000 Mustangs were immediately snapped up by buyers. This car has the A code 289 four-barrel V8 engine with standard transmission. The engine has been upgraded with an Edelbrock aluminum intake and Holley carburetor, electronic ignition system and header's going to a duel exhaust system. This pony had the under-dash A/C system installed at the dealer but since then the compressor and condenser have been upgraded to use the 134A freon. On the exterior you will see Black Raven paint that you can show with pride with new American Racing torque thrust wheels and all new tires. The chrome is nice and clean as well as the underside is.
