Well I just fell into this one. I don’t know where it came from but it came to me and here it is 1980 Jeep Grand Wagoneer V6 Four Wheel Drive, Automatic trans, Power steering, Power Disc Brakes, and Power Windows. I remember these in my younger years seeing them a thinking how great they were. Finding one of them today is quite a task in this condition. be quite a neat vehicle but I see him out there today be just gone crazy over, this is in great condition in and out Original interior looks fantastic. The paint has just been done once just to be expected since 1980. This car looks and runs and drives spectacular. The speedometer shows 9,581 miles which let’s call 109,581 miles no way for me to prove or disprove the mileage so let’s leave it at that. It looks spectacular run spectacular rise as it should beautifully. All papers documentation attached original loaner, Harry Harry Harry this won’t last.
Jeep has undergone an extensive restoration as can be seen in the photos. The interior, except the carpet, is completely original. There are a couple cracks in the top dashboard cushion, which would be expected. You can replace easily but I wanted to preserve the originality. The vehicle is powered by a rebuilt numbers matching V6 engine (much more reliable than their V8 option). All gauges work. All 4 doors close tight. Power steering and power brakes. New Goodyear tires have less than 1,000 miles of wear. Unlike most Wagoneers this age, the tailgate window is electric and works flawlessly. Car starts up immediately and runs quite comfortably on highway or city. Turns heads at every stoplight and parking lot. There are many Grand Cherokees with the fake wood paneling are out there but this one, without the “sticker paneling” are extremely rare and I have never seen a better example. Bumpers could be re-chromed but are in great survivor shape as you can see in photos. Great summer vehicle at at a below market price. We all know the price trajectory on old highest quality 4X4s. Price should double (if not more) in 5 years. I’m selling it because my storage costs have almost doubled in the last year and I don’t feel like paying $6,000 a year to store a vehicle that I drive for 5 months out of the year.
