1964 Chevrolet El Camino

Description:

Over the years, GM's Chevrolet division has built some interesting cars. However, there are few of those that can match the coolness factor of the El Camino - much less the kind that this specific 1964 Chevrolet El Camino brings to the table. The beginning of the second-generation of El Camino production, the 1964 El Camino featured styling like the Chevelle and plenty of powertrains to choose from. This example is powered by a strong 283 C.I. V8 breathing through a 4-barrel carburetor, a vocal combination that screams when you put your foot to the floor. Torque is put to the pavement through a 4-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter, guaranteed to put a smile on your face whenever you're behind the wheel. The exterior's straight bodylines are bathed in a nice Red paintjob, looking fantastic in the sun after being buffed to a brilliant shine. Those bodylines are complimented by beautiful chrome brightwork and a pair of El Camino badges on the rear quarterpanels! Additionally, the floors, frame rails, bed, and door jambs are all solid and in good shape. Opening the doors to the interior reveals a gorgeous black vinyl interior, complete with comfy updated bucket seats and a full center console. Options on this sweet '64 Chevy include power steering, a Wieland intake manifold, a 10-bolt rear axle with 3.73 gearing, an electric pusher fan, a black canvas bed cover, an aftermarket tachometer and gauges, a bed mat, aftermarket headers, an updated CD player with AM/FM radio, a Hurst shifter, vent windows, and a mean-sounding dual exhaust system. The truck rides on sleek set of 15" Cragar SS chrome wheels over B.F. Goodrich RWL tires, a classic combination that makes the muscle under the hood match how this El Camino looks! The minute you're behind the wheel of this El Camino, it becomes very clear just how excellently it runs and drives. After all, the combination of a V8 and a 4-speed manual transmission is tough to beat! If you're looking to turn heads up and down the street as well as at your next car show, there isn't a whole lot out there that will do the job better than this 1972 El Camino.
