The Ferrari 348 Spider is a 90s icon when it comes to exotics from that era. With its unmistakable Pininfarina design this mid engine V8 Ferrari would become an instant classic. The 348 Spider used a steel and aluminum body with a canvas top which was fitted perfectly to fit the cars lines. The 348 is powered by a 3.4 liter (3405cc) flat plane crank V8 fitted with twin overhead cams featuring 4 valves per cylinder producing 320 horsepower, an impressive number for 1994. The 348 Spider will do 0-60 mph in only 5.4 seconds and can reach a top speed of 154 mph. For the 1994 model Ferrari opted to put a less muffling exhaust system on the Spider for a more enjoyable engine note during top down driving. Also for 1994 the gear box ratio was changed from 1.09:1 to 1.22:1 and the tires are set nearly 2 inches further apart in the rear for improved handling.
Our 1994 Ferrari 348 Spider is painted in Rosso Corsa over a Nero interior. Recent service includes an engine out belt service, all interior sticky components removed and refinished, a new brake system ECU fitted, new battery and a new motor valve unit for the climate control panel. With only 3000 miles our 348 Spider is one of the lowest mileage examples in the world.
