Also original is the driveline, 256ci/161hp overhead V8 engine, mated to the original manual 3 speed with overdrive transmission 3 on the tree shift, both being completely and professionally rebuilt to precise original specifications. Upgrades during the restoration include; install a Holley 4-barrel carburetor, Holley air filter, dual exhaust with Smithy glass pack mufflers, conversion to 12-volt electrical throughout, and electric fuel pump installed 2023. Other highlights of the restoration are: Original radio remains, with FM conversion New Redhead steering box Interior is completely restored with new upholstery matching the original.
