This beautiful example of a Dodge D100 pickup finished it's restoration in 2021. Owned for the last six years by the same owner, it was purchased from a tree nursery in 2017 outside of Butler, PA. These are believed to be the original 25,000 miles on the truck. The excellent condition of the body and ladder-frame chassis support this conclusion.
The D100 designates a 2WD half-ton pickup. It features the renowned Super Red Ram 315ci V8, an early member of the Hemi family that produced 285HP and 390lb-ft of torque. It has a 2-barrel carburetor The on-the-tree manual transmission adds to the character of this timeless classic. There were only around 10,000 D100s produced in 1957, compounding the exclusivity of finding a gem like this here today.
The truck was always a 12V system, however the battery was moved inside the engine compartment from it's previous home underneath the bench seat. Come see this beauty in person where you can fully appreciate the cleanliness from top to bottom, inside and out.
