In today's automotive landscape, most spectators like to make hard distinctions between cars and trucks. Maybe it's an adverse reaction to excellent crossovers continually gaining share. Maybe its insecurity over sedans slowly becoming a niche product. Or maybe it's fear of electricity and autonomy completely redefining what a car is. Whatever the case, cars and trucks have always emanated from a common wellspring. For example, Ford's immortal Model A was produced in a wide array of body styles. The two-box sedans of the 1940s could be considered the largest precursor to modern crossovers. And today, most major OEMs are switching to modular vehicle platforms that can spawn everything from a sporty three-door to a full-size pickup. All that said, NOWHERE has this all-inclusive mindset been cooler, or more successful, than Chevrolet's storied El Camino. And this exceptional Camino resto-mod or pro-touring if you’d like is a choice classic that combines a spry performance LSX with a professionally built suspension, 4L60E automatic transmission and timeless, all-American appeal!

It's hard not to smile when you see a Chevy this cool! Decked in brilliant PPG single stage paint in an incredible color making this ute the product of an acute restoration that was founded on a great mix of aesthetics, streetability, and even a few auto cross events if you so choose. At the front of the car, the new grill and chrome-trimmed LED headlights are adjacent to a painted fiberglass front bumper making this Camino a different breed in the bunch. At the top of that clip, a custom latched fiberglass hood leads to a billet and stainless trimmed greenhouse that's reflected in Ring Brothers billet mirrors and Eddie Motorsports door handles. Below those mirrors and heading rear of the cabin are where the stylish rockers lead to the stainless Magnaflow equipped exhaust exiting to the rear quarter panels. And at the back of the car, a newly skinned tailgate centers between the simple frenched in LED equipped taillights, a texture painted bed with removable panels for access to the Accusump and battery compartment including an additional removable panel for adjustment of the rear suspension. Tighten a few zeus fasteners and you’ve got a smooth painted textured floor for protecting your investment. Cover this with a great looking aluminum framed and fabric bed cover and you’re ready to go!

NOTHING BETTER THAN A PROFESSIONAL BUILD LSX SMALL BLOCK CHEVY!
Open the hood and you'll find 5.3 liters of divine GM small block. Officially known as the Chevrolet LS L33 5.3 engine equipped with Texas Speed CNC ported 799 heads and a custom Pat G Camshaft this mill is serious. At the top of the block, a 112 LSA TBSS intake equipped with LS3 fuel injectors should definitely meet the needs of even the most critical driver. Speaking of breathing, this smooth valvetrain funnels spent gases through ceramic coated Doug’s Headers. There's a beefy aluminum radiator that's slid between a painted support and twin puller fans. A serpentine drive spins a Turn One power steering pump.

NOTHING BETTER THAN A SORTED RESTO-MOD!
At the bottom of this Camino, a tough professionally built 4L60E sends power to a Moser built 12-bolt axle. That stellar drivetrain is held in place by a custom suspension that can be adjusted in any way you’d like. The steering is quick and responsive thanks to a modified steering box and a Turn One power steering pump. At the corners, power-assisted calipers squeeze a quartet of drilled and slotted rotors. And power meets the pavement via Forgestar 18" rims covered in Azenis 315 tires on all four corners.

NOTHING BETTER THAN DRIVING A CLASSIC!
Swing the doors and you'll find a new interior featuring new door panels, dash, brightwork, and the Corbeau reclining bucket seats with four-point seat belts to hold you in. A great looking insignia of the El Camino is featured between these seats with new stereo speakers installed. Move to the front and you’ll find a monochromatic dash framing crisp Dakota Digital VHX telemetry. Vintage heat is supplied for those colder days should you choose. Below that dash, clean carpet, protected by the floor mats is surrounded by a really cool retrofitted GM 1968-72 console equipped with a Kilgore shifter for your manual shifting pleasure!

If you're a fan of strength, class or presence, it doesn't get much better than this cool El Camino! A unique combination of gratuitous power and timeless style, this killer Chevy is a well-done classic that'll be a blast on the road and a hit a
