WHAT A PIECE OF HISTORY!!!! A RARE PIECE OF MACHINERY FOUND STILL IN THE ORIGINAL WOOD CRATE 100+ YEARS. Made By "OLIVER". Currently on display in the museum, and needs to find a new home for this awesome piece of history.
I have not messed with it, nor tried to clean it. These pictures are what it looked like when the box was opened. I only made sure the keys worked, and the plenum turned.
This 1912 Oliver Model Nine Typewriter was found still in the ORIGINAL CRATE, with the Factory Books, Instruction Manual, Original (Embossed Glass Typewriter Oil Bottle), Box with cleaning brush, etc. The Typewriter is in excellent condition, keys still work, never has been used.
The BOX IS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME DECO AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION TOO.
I have searched the Internet and have not found anything like this anywhere. If you are an office supply company, computer store, or a fine vintage office equipment collector this is a MUST HAVE PIECE OF HISTORY.
