| YOU ARE LOOKING AT A VERY RARE FIND. Ford had 200 of these Thunderbirds done in various colors sent to American Coachworks in Hollywood, CA. This coach builder has Elvis, MJ, Elton, and many other rock stars along with many sports stars for customers — too many to mention without offending someone!! This Thunderbird does have a full working convertible canvas top able to keep out the rain while driving or sitting. Still recommended to store every ragtop inside. This car is your basic '78 T-Bird with 5.0 V-8, automatic, 9 inch rear. This car has a pair of new Magna Flow muffs with 3 inch stainless tips out rear under bumper. All new just installed. Car seems to start, run, drive, stop very good. With top down, the fitted red boot snaps all down and will eliminate use of sitting in rear seat for passengers. Still able to store a suitcase, cooler or whatever. Car is a factory A/C car but currently not all there to have working A/C — pump and lines are missing. 5.0 Engine has been updated with Edelbrock high rise intake manifold and Holley 600 4v carb. We are planning on doing a few things to the car before pricing firmly. We would consider selling as-is if you're set on this one. |
