| Long considered the holy grail of the original muscle car era, the 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda just has the right look, the right sound, and of course the right engine with that massive 426 Hemi stuffed between the front fenders. Here we have an incredible real deal example of this iconic muscle car. With just around 67,500 miles since new and incredibly well-maintained / restored as needed since new, it boasts plenty of documentation to go along with its original Hemi engine. This amazing car has been in climate-controlled storage since 1984 and has been driven less than 3,000 miles since that time. It is just one of 368 U.S. market Hemi 'Cudas produced with the automatic transmission. Examine the car closely and you'll see the dash, door tag, cowl and radiator support all sport matching numbers. The glass is original as is the rock-solid and arrow-straight body that has had just a single high-quality repaint in the correct TorRed color. Despite that being an older respray, it still presents incredibly well, as does the chrome and stainless-steel bumpers and trim. Note that the car features N.O.S. wheel opening moldings, which although not offered from the factory on Hemi cars, were added back sometime in the mid-1980s, likely after the car was resprayed. The black interior is all original, including the carpeting, and is in incredible condition as well. Of course it features bucket seats and a center console that houses the SlapStik gear selector for the Torqueflite automatic. Under the shaker scoop-equipped hood is the 426 Hemi that the car was born with. Sporting dual quads from the factory, it was likely underrated at 425 horsepower. That broad-shouldered powerhouse sends the power to the rear wheels via a warranty replacement (with blank pad) Torqueflite 727 transmission and (being a Super Track Pak-equipped car) 4.10-geared Dana Sure Grip rear end. As you'd expect, this icon runs, drives and sounds like the super muscle car that it is.
