| When the Thunderbird Super Coupe debuted for 1989, it let the world know that Ford was really serious about building a sporty luxury coupe. With clean yet distinctive styling, a powerful supercharged V6 and an athletic chassis, this entertaining T-bird had it all. On offer here is a nice example of a Thunderbird SC with less than 72,000 miles. This T-bird boasts a rock-solid body with beautiful original paint that still gleams. The factory alloy wheels still look sharp and they've recently been fitted with new tires. Swing open the door and you'll see a plush interior with rare cloth and leather upholstery. Overall it's in very good condition with the only notable flaw being the driver's seat left side bolster (cracked leather). Feature highlights include a power sunroof, automatic climate control, dual power sport seats (with power lumbar and side bolster supports) and an AM/FM/CD premium audio system. Making this 'bird fly is a supercharged 3.8-liter V6 that cranks out a very respectable for the time 230 horsepower along with a stout 330 pound-feet of torque. A smooth 4-speed automatic transmission sends the power to the rear wheels. There's plenty of performance on tap whether running around town or effortlessly accelerating up a freeway on-ramp. Add in its athletic handling and refined ride and the T-bird SC is the very definition of a proper grand touring coupe. This car is simply a blast thanks to its spirited acceleration and athletic handling. Note that this car has had just one caring owner and has been well maintained with a folder full of receipts.
