The 326 cubic inch V12 engine is 100 factory stock, is still fitted with the factory four Stromberg carbs, dual factory air cleaner assemblies, and has never been modified. Fires right up and pulls hard through the rev range with instantaneous power from idle to redline, twelve cylinder smoothness, and acceleration on par with a small block Corvette. The four speed manual transmission shifts perfectly, and the 3.54 rear end provides a nice mix of strong acceleration and relaxed high speed cruising. Power steering and four wheel disc brakes for effortless maneuvering. Gorgeous black leather interior with reclining front bucket seats, fixed rear seat, and center console with armrest. Factory Smiths 160 mph speedometer and 7000 RPM tachometer, plus factory Smiths gauges for Oil Pressure, Water Temperature, and Fuel Level; all work correctly. Factory air conditioning, works properly and blows cold. Excellent dash with no warping and no heat cracks. The leather wrapped steering wheel is in very nice condition and has the telescopic feature. Dual side mirrors with remote. Rear defogger. Excellent carpets, excellent interior door panels, excellent headliner. No wear on the leather, no wear on the controls, and excellent fit & finish. Excellent body with no rust and a no damage history. All panels are factory original and I cannot find any body filler. Both doors, the bonnet, and the rear hatch close correctly, all gaps are factory perfect, and the scoop under the nose is perfect. The desert climate of Tucson, Arizona is among the driest here in the States and is excellent for preserving vintage cars. Stunning Signal Red paint done to show standards in modern acrylic urethane base/clear with a smooth finish and a glossy shine. This is THE best color for these cars and it definitely gets positive attention (a trip to the gas station turns into a social event every time). Excellent chrome bumpers front & rear and excellent chrome headlight nacelles. All new rubber weatherstripping including the windshield surround, the rear window surround, the side window weatherstrippings, rear hatch molding, bonnet molding, door opening weatherstrippings,and window channel whiskers (all removed and replaced with correct OEM items when the paint was stripped and resprayed). Excellent glass and all windows operate smoothly. Excellent front grill and rear tail panel. The rear pop-open windows and the rear hatch all operate properly. Brand new dual exhaust with the cleaner looking earlier dual exhaust pipes rather than the cumbersome four-pipe fan assembly. Excellent factory chrome wire wheels fitted with correct white wall radials. Just professionally detailed, polished, hand waxed, and turnkey ready for cruises and shows. Goes straight down the road with no shake, no noises; and has that comfortable supple ride Jaguars are noted for. Very very nice car! ...and yes, the miles are actual at 56,959.      

1970 CHEVROLET MONTE CARLO 502 PROSTREET

1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo ProStreet in stunning Hugger Orange with a black vinyl top, black bucket seat velvet interior, polished Weld wheels, tubbed chassis, and huge 33 wide Mickey Thompson rear tires. The Chevrolet 502 crate engine has been fitted with a 926 cfm Carb Shop Holley four barrel carb, dual plane GM intake manifold, Delco electronic ignition, ceramic coated Sanderson headers, and a 3 dual FlowMaster exhaust exiting from the correct chrome exhaust tips. Fires right up and settles into a lopey idles with a deep aggressive exhaust note from the dual exhaust. Nails you back in the seat when you punch it and will spin those big Mickey Thompson rear tires with the throttle!! Runs perfectly on premium pump gas and there are no mechanical issues no smoke, no leaks, no noises. The factory Turbohydramatic 400 automatic transmission shifts perfectly and has been rebuilt with heavy duty clutches and a 2500 RPM torque converter. The rearend is a heavy duty nodular steel positraction Ford 9 (one of the strongest rears ever produced) that is fitted with 3.50 gears and a Dayton pinion support. Coupled with the tall rear tires, this car cruises like a 3.08 geared car and loafs along effortlessly at 80-90 mph. The driveshaft is 3 1/2 in diameter and the rear suspension has been correctly modified with an Art Morrison mandrel bent rear frame, Panhard rod, ladder bars, and aluminum coil-over adjustable shocks. Beautiful custom interior using the factory bucket seats with black velvet covers fitted and black velvet inner door panels, black velvet headliner, and black velvet interior panels. Very Rare Matching Numbers Car: 1970 AMC Javelin SST X-Code 390 RamAir in Frost White with Bright Red side stripes, Bright Red deluxe interior, black half vinyl top, and Magnum 500 wheels. Absolutely immaculate, matching numbers, Ram Air 390 / 325 horse GoPac SST with factory air conditioning. This car has only 74,182 actual miles and the current Virginia state inspection is still on the windshield (Jan 2009 expiration). The original factory HiPo 390 engine is 100 factory stock with no modifications and is still fitted with the original Motorcraft 4-barrel carburetor, original intake manifold, original exhaust manifolds, and the original Ram-Air Induction aircleaner assembly. The factory metal tags are still on the passenger side valve cover and on the carburetor. Fires right up and settles into a lopey idle with a deep subdued exhaust note runs perfectly on premium pump gas and there are no mechanical issues no smoke, no leaks, no noises. Instantaneous throttle response nails you back in the seat when you punch it and pulls hard through the rev range. These 10:1 compression 390 AMCs were factory under-rated at 325 horsepower & 420 lb.ft. of torque are very strong running cars, and will walk away from 396 Chevelles & 383 Roadrunners. The original Shift Command automatic transmission shifts perfectly and the TwinGrip 3.54 positraction rearend provides strong acceleration while allowing relaxed high speed cruising. Power steering and power disc brakes for safe easy driving. The original Bright Red corduroy bucket seat interior is in incredible condition and was the top interior option available. This is the original 1970 factory installed interior with no wear on the seats, no wear on the door panels, no wear on the controls, no wear on the carpets. Center console and factory floor shifter. The original woodgrain dash is excellent and the original Rim-Blow steering wheel has no cracks however, the rubber strip for the horn does need replaced. Factory 140 mph speedometer and factory 8000 RPM in-dash tachometer both work correctly. Factory air conditioning with all components present but the belt has been removed. Professionally installed Pioneer AM/FM/CD player sounds great. Remote side mirror. Perfectly straight body with no dents, no dings, no waves, and I cannot find any body filler anywhere. Panel fit is factory perfect, all gaps are factory correct, and none of the factory body bolts have been disturbed. Extremely nice paint in correct Frost White done in modern acrylic urethane and then block sanded to a smooth glossy finish. No nicks, no chips, no flaws and with factory correct Bright Red side stripes. Very nice front & rear chrome bumpers. Excellent brightwork and stainless steel trim. Excellent glass and all windows operate smoothly. Excellent weatherstripping, window whiskers, and trunk molding. The trunk is correctly splatter painted and contains the original space saver spare and inflator bottle, original trunk mat, original spare tire cover, and original jack assembly. The original Magnum 500 wheels with the polished trim rings and chrome center caps are excellent and are fitted with raised-white-letter P215-70-14 Dunlop GT radials. Just professionally detailed, polished, hand waxed, and turnkey ready for cruises and shows. Runs and drives perfectly. One of the nicest Javelin SSTs that I have seen in years and the only X-code RamAir 390 GoPac Javelin SST I have ever seen. Documentation includes a folder with the original Build Sheet, original Owner's Manual, years of maintenance records, advertising literature, plus road tests from back in the day. VERY NICE, VERY RARE CAR!!
